This year's Halloween Costume ideas draw upon whats happening in popular culture, favorites of previous years and a return to classic Halloween costumes. Some of these may be homemade though we offer no recommendation as to how.

10. Superman costume. Go for a classic. You know the costume from the drug store with the plastic mask and rubber band holding up the mask thats going to break at some point during the night.

9. Lady Gaga. There will be tons of Lady Gaga's out there on Halloween someone's gotta do it. Why not you.

8. Zombie. Zombie's never go out of style. They also recently invaded New York (as part of TV promotion for an AMC series).

7. Sexy anything. This year as in years past we recommend the sexy anything costume. Nurse, sure cliche but again a classic, referee,

6. Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber is taking over the tween world, you can take over Halloween in your Bieber costume.

5. Mad Men anything. Dress in the style of the popular show about men in advertising during the 1960's. Guys consider the character Don Draper or ladies a Joan Holloway as portrayed by Christina Hendricks.

4. Witch. Another classic made popular again by Republican Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell who proclaimed in a television ad that she was not a witch and also that she's you.

3. Food Truck. Gourmet food trucks are taking storm across the nation. Win the best costume competition be a food truck. Not exactly sure how to put this one together but car board will probably be involved.

2. The Real Housewives of New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, DC, Orange County, Beverly Hills. Your choice or combine them with a group of friends.

1. Chilean Miners. Great costume coupled with a happy story with a happy ending. What happened in the mine stays in the mine.
