bush lying Liars, Thieves and Killers: The Miserable Failure that is the George W. Bush Administration

By all statistical accounts the four years of George W. Bush has been one of the worse administrations in American political history. This is not political partisanship this is truth. The tragic events of 9/11 happened on his watch; He lied about weapons of mass destruction being Iraq when he knew intelligence said otherwise; He lied about a connection between Iraq and Al-Queda illegally starting a war with Iraq instead of using those troops and resources to capture Bin Ladin and those responsible for 9/11; and Bush, Cheney, and their corporate cronies are unapologetic in their looting of the American people and the Iraqis with no bid contracts and untold millions; Domestically the budget deficit is at a record 500 billion dollars when Bush inherited a surplus; Over 2 million jobs were lost on his watch and the new ones created pay less and cost more to be insured; He has offered no plan for fixing the healthcare crises at all except for giving tax breaks to the insurance industry and attacking attorneys who sue for people who got screwed by the insurance companies and healthcare providers.

Bush has been running on 9/11 but lets take another look. He must take some responsibility for the events of 9/11 whether it is was a failure of intelligence on the part of government agencies or a failure of his own intelligence. The truth is as the 9/11 commission points out the Bush administration did not take Al-Queda to be as serious threat as the previous administration. We will never know whether holding high-level meetings on terrorism as Richard Clark suggested could have prevented the tragedies, as it did in preventing the millennium attacks. Bush is responsible for the 9/11 attacks at some level.

He refused to testify to the 9/11 Commission without the presence of Dick Cheney and refused to testify under oath about what he knew prior to 9/11. The American people will never know the truth about his family dealings with the Saudi Royal kingdom including the family of Bin Ladin and how if at all this may have led to the tragic events of that day. The buck stops with him. He loves to claim to be Commander in Chief but he does not admit mistakes and take responsibility for his actions. In fact, Bush has a pattern of not taking personal responsibility for his actions, inaction and mistakes. Real leaders take responsibility for there actions. It has been alleged that Bush skipped out on his National Guard service, used illegal drugs and was pulled over for a DUI. Click Here To Continue

Are There Blacks in Brazil: And Ten Other Reasons Why Bush Must Be Fired

10. “Fool me once shame on you fool me…uhhh.. can’t fool me again” the American people should fire Bush for not knowing the rest of this phrase alone.

9. He was never hired. He didn’t get the most votes but still became President. In no other sphere do you win when you get less than your opponent. And don’t get me started about the Florida debacle, how Jeb Bush criminally purged from the voter polls lawfully registered black voters and how the right wing Supreme Court led by Cheney’s fishing partner Justice Scalia gave the election to Bush.

8. Are there blacks in Brazil. Bush said this in meeting with the former President of Brazil. Startled before the Brazilian president could respond Condi Rice jumped in and informed the president that Brazil is very diverse and has the largest black population outside of Africa itself. If you don’t know that Brazil has black people you should not be President of the United States.

7. Seven stands for the $7 trillion dollar national debt. After coming into office with a budget surplus.

6. Dick Cheney. No previous Vice-president has had so much clout and influence over a presidency. And as the former CEO of Halliburton he has made sure that his old pals own most of Iraq through no bid government contracts. CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE

Kerry Wins Election in Dream Shocker!

by Peggy Butler

Many readers will enjoy this column because it's a prelude to the  November 2nd  presidential election,  in which John Kerry was declared the winner, courtesy of my prolific dream. But those same  readers may not be so happy  if  they fail to vote, and  George "I'm the  master  of  the universe" Bush is re-elected. Okay, before you get more flustered than you already are. Sample this!

On the night of April 30, 2004, while veering between sleep and insomnia,  I dreamed about the  presidential election. In the dream I saw  John Kerry wildly  pumping his fist as George W. Bush  seethed with anger. At  Bush's side stood his family.  Jeb, who unlike four years ago,  this time, failed to deliver the state of  Florida to his brother's electorate  column. Barbara, his mom, wearing her trademark pearls and gently wiping the tears from her son's face. Laura his wife of  27  years  was soothing the wrinkles on his forehead; while his father, the elder Bush,  stoically  declared: "You should have gotten out  of  Iraq when you had the chance."  Also on hand  was the president's dog, Barney, who took one look at his master, and unleashed a smell so repulsive, the stench gravitated throughout  the White House. Countdown: The End of the Bush Regime

The fear mongering, the right wing ruling, the inability of a President to complete a sentence of intelligent value will be over in less than one year. Right now we are encouraging you to register to vote. It does matter. Your vote will count (maybe). Officially Bush won Florida by 537 votes. The truth is he lost Florida by over 20,000 votes. It wasn't even close. See, Greg Palast's great work, "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy" and you will see that the theft of election 2000 actually began a few years earlier when Jeb Bush knowingly and criminally purged the voter registration files of thousands of black voters.

Perhaps the biggest problem with the Bush Presidency is that it never legitimately exists in the eyes of many Americans. No, I'm not just talking about the itimidating of black voters, criminally purging black and democratic voters from voting registrars in Florida by Jeb Bush, CEO of Bush Inc. I'm talking about the fact the Bush did not get the most votes and yet became President due to our electoral college system of electing the Presidency. According the numbers by the Federal Election Commission Al Gore received 50,999,897 votes George W. Bush received 50,456,002 (Ralph Nader received 2,882,955 which means more Americans voted for the more 'liberal' or moderate candidates than the conservative candidate proving that this country is not in line with the right wing conservartive talk show hosts on tv and radio who try to convince us this is a conservative country, to borrow from Al Franken they are indeed liars). (See for yourself at http://www.fec.gov/pubrec/fe2000/prespop.htm). In any other democracy it is simple the person who gets the most votes win. Don't tell me about the 1876 election deal to end reconstruction and screw black people to gain the presidency or that Kennedy stole the election in 1960 or that Nixon stole the 68 election by undermining Vietnam peace talks in late 1968. That doesn't matter to me right now as the current regime in the white house. It is shocking that we have all acquiesed and submitted to the will of the Fox News' who at the encouragement of a Bush first cousin called the election for Bush and the all networks not wanting to be left behing did the same and then later retracted because Florida was too close to call. Bush plain and simply did not get the most votes. A football team does not lose the game when it outscores the opponent. I am no fan of Bush but I would have more respect for him and his presidency had I believed he actually won the election. He became President by getting less votes than his opponent in an election in which only 51% of the voting age population voted.

With the end of the Bush Presidency will also come the end of a foreign policy based on U.S. agression and preemptive strikes. Did Hitler's Germany not premptively strike Poland? It will end the U.S. being hated by the world and bring about the U.S. being loved again by the world. Bush destroyed all good will by the nations of the earth after 9/11 by invading Iraq and lying about the reasons why. Is there anyone who believes that the U.S. would not have invaded Iraq if it wasn't for the oil. Remember the comments at the beginning of the war paraphrasing here, "Iraqi people do not destroy the oil fields they are your source of wealth...blah blah blah" that was before a single shot was fired. Does anyone find that a little awkward and weird that on the eve of a war Team Bush was concerned about the enemy destroying its own natural resources. What do we care if they destroy their oil, if we are after weapons of mass destruction and terrorist right? Right. No wonder this administration is vehemently agains the International Criminal Court. Can any one say war criminal indictment, that does not look good on the resume or to donors to the Presidential library. How about Felony Murder, if lying to Congress about going to war is a felony, than that lie leading to the deaths of thousands is indeed felony murder. If not criminally responsible how about civil responsibility with the lower threshold by a perponderance of the evidence. I know, I know the courts will never hear such a thing here, the old Political question doctrine, but we digress.

Speaking of donors Bush has already raised almost $100 million dollars for his reelection campaign. Just as he outspent Vice President Gore, Bush will likely outspend the democratic opponent many times over. The only candidate who could match Bush's spending is John Kerry whose wife is a billionaire. But just about all the democratic challengers would make a better President than Bush. Between us don't you kinda want to see Wesley Clark pimp slap Bush. Mark these words Bush, Inc. will try to buy and scare you into reelecting their asses and if Bush wins reelection their may not be any more elections.

Most will agree that Bush is probably the worse President since Herbert Hoover and the record number of job losses on the unemployment rolls show it. Over 3 million jobs lost under his watch. But no one can prove he can tell time. He certainly doesn't know that their are Black people in Brazil (ask Condi Rice about that). But I do know the time. You hear that tick. Tick Tick Tick Tick. Thats your Presidency, Bush, and times just about up. Countdown.
